I became interested in museums and collections management after realizing that an archaeologist’s work has only begun after the artifacts are out of the ground. I am a firm believer in the value of collections-based research and the need for the kind of care required to ensure access to them. My career has allowed me to travel not only the United States, but the entire world through time with museum collections.
In my free time, I love to hike, read fantasy novels, and go to craft shows. I'm always excited to try a new restaurant or brewery with friends! Collections of my own include fountain pens, comics, nail polish, and handmade ceramic mugs. I have also been a Zumba instructor for five years and love dancing to a good reggaeton beat!
I acknowledge my home in Colorado is on the traditional lands of 48 Native American tribes who now live throughout the American Southwest, Great Plains, and Rocky Mountains.
I enjoy connecting with new colleagues! If you’d like to chat, please feel free to contact me.
